Job Description Southeast 7 is a surgical unit specializing in neurosurgery, vascular patients, and orthopedics. With all private rooms, our new surgical tower offers great opportunities.
Southeast 7 provides professional nursing services for patients and their families and collaborates with other health care providers to achieve expected patient outcomes and improve the care environment.
Responsibilities
Accountable for competent patient care based on established standards and the nursing process.
Assume expanded unit roles as available and assigned by the Nurse Manager, including charge nurse or preceptor.
Support peers in delivering patient care, use appropriate team communication methods, and practice care that reflects patient condition and priorities.
Provide support to team problem solving.
Identify opportunities for self‑growth and contribute to the development of other learners.
Contribute to a safe unit environment and operations.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months RN expertise in an acute care setting.
B.S. in Nursing preferred.
Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers preferred).
Pay Range $38.76 - $50.33
