Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of Environmental Services (EVS) personnel, and for the operation and coordination of department functions. This role actively collaborates with leadership as it relates to recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance management of the EVS Mission Partners. In addition to oversight of personnel, this position is responsible for effectively complying with regulatory standards, financial analysis of department operation and collaboration with leadership team members to support the department in its daily function.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma/GED OR 2 years of lead or supervisor experience
Experience: 2 years’ experience in healthcare environmental services
License/Certifications: N/A
Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Experience: Prior supervisory experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification: Trainer-Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Technician (T-CHEST), Certified Healthcare Environmental Technician (CHEST) certification or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification
