Role Description: This full-time Elementary SDC (Special Day Class) Teacher position is an on-site role based in Santa Rosa, CA. The teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized lesson plans, supporting diverse learning needs, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, collaborating with staff and families, and maintaining compliance with all educational guidelines and standards.
Qualifications
Possess strong skills in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education
Demonstrated expertise in Teaching and Education
Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and parents
Strong ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Experience in special education or similar teaching positions is advantageous
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or a related field
Valid teaching credential or appropriate certification for teaching in California
