Christian Camp Counselor

Mentoring Alliance . This is a temporary, summer-only position. The counselor’s primary role is leading a group of campers through their daily program, which includes Bible study, activity classes, meals, worship times, and other events. We seek a Christian Camp Counselor who is devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full God-given potential. This role offers the opportunity to be a role model and have a positive impact in our community. Responsibilities

Lead a group of campers through daily program elements (Bible study, activity classes, meals, worship times, and other events). Serve as a minister of the Gospel and role model to kids and families. Collaborate with the summer camps team to deliver engaging and safe activities. Qualifications

Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith. Must be at least 16 years of age (High School Diploma or G.E.D.; some post-secondary training highly preferred). Passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children. Able to work Monday–Friday during the summer months. Ability to earn mandatory CPR/First Aid certification. Dependable transportation. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) greatly valued. Experience: Working with youth — 1 year (preferred). Education: HS diploma or equivalent; pursuing AA or BA/BS (preferred). Details
