Flex Security Officer - All Shifts – Full Time – Fairview Heights, IL
We are hiring qualified individuals for Security Flex Officer positions to join our team.
Base Pay $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr
As a Flex Security Officer, you will provide excellent service for our clients and their guests, upholding our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
We are a THC‑free and drug‑free workplace. Candidates must be willing to undergo a pre‑employment screening process, including drug testing and background investigation.
Work locations cover the metro east ranging from Godfrey to Highland, Edwardsville to Cahokia Heights, Pontoon Beach to Sauget.
Open Interviews Every Thursday, 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interviews are in‑person at our office. Proper interview attire is required.
Security Officer Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for an Illinois PERC Security Officer License.
Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and up/down flights of stairs; this position is about 75%–80% standing/walking.
The position is up to 75%–80% time outside.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; this is a driving position.
Reliable transportation is required (public transportation is not available at most sites).
Must be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Must be available all holidays.
Reliable cellphone for work communication.
High School Diploma, GED, or willingness to complete a GED program.
Average computer skills; above average a plus.
Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus.
Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals.
Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and appropriate escalation.
Legal right to work in the United States.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Customer service experience preferred.
Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
