Overview NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes. In this role, you will serve contracted schools and/or professional teams and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position supports afternoon and evening events in Centralia, IL.

Schedule: Hours vary as needed
Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk (e.g., taping, wrapping, bracing, hydration, minor wound care).
Assess effectiveness of training/rehabilitative techniques and document changes according to athlete response within specified plan of care limits.
Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support.
Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Board of Certification.
CPR certification.
Applicable state license where required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree.
