Base Pay Range $81,200.00/yr - $98,100.00/yr

We offer innovative solutions for roadways, intersections, transit, traffic, and multimodal infrastructure projects across public and private sectors.

What will you be doing?

Develop and prepare detailed plans, profiles, and cross‑sections for transportation projects (traffic signals, lighting, signing/striping, temporary traffic control, Intelligent Transportation Systems, roadways, and intersections).

Apply CAD standards, client requirements, and agency specifications (e.g., DOT, municipal).

Review and incorporate survey data, field notes, and design markups into drawings.

Coordinate with engineers, planners, and project managers to meet deadlines and project goals.

Assist in developing and enforcing CAD standards and workflows.

Mentor junior staff and provide quality control reviews of drawings.

Manage electronic files and ensure compliance with project documentation protocols.

Provide technical support for all CAD software.

What are we looking for?

5+ years of experience in CAD drafting for civil/transportation projects.

Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads preferred.

Strong understanding of transportation/traffic engineering concepts and plan development.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

Associate degree or technical certification in drafting/design, civil technology, or related field.

Experience with agency standards (DOT, FHWA, municipal).

Familiarity with 3D modeling/visualization tools.
