Position Summary
The CFO is a key member of the senior leadership team who provides strategic financial guidance and oversight to drive growth, maintain financial health, and support data-informed decision-making. This individual will lead financial planning, reporting, analysis, risk management, and compliance functions across the global business.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership
Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s strategic financial plan.
Provide insights and analysis to support high-impact business decisions, including pricing, investment, and expansion strategies.
Lead long-term financial forecasting, business modeling, and performance tracking.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, revenue analysis, and variance reporting.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages for senior leadership and the board.
Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains across financial reporting and operations.
Accounting & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting that complies with GAAP or relevant international accounting standards.
Oversee consolidation of profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flows, and key financial metrics.
Lead annual and quarterly reporting, including audit coordination and compliance filings.
Design and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Manage financial risk, working capital strategy, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Oversee relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
Operational Finance
Oversee treasury, tax, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and supply chain finance activities.
Provide financial governance and oversight for commercial spend, profitability by channel, and capital projects.
Leadership & Team Development
Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Promote cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, marketing, and supply chain stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Extensive senior financial leadership experience, preferably in consumer goods, beverage, or CPG industries.
Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, accounting, reporting, and risk management.
Proven ability to translate financial data into strategic insight and operational action.
Experience working with financial systems and data platforms.
Preferred
Experience leading finance in global operations or multi-entity organizations.
Prior involvement with ERP implementations or financial transformation projects.
Experience interfacing with boards of directors and external stakeholders.
Background with high growth or scaling businesses.
