$17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, orders or other records.

Understands and completes all required paperwork. Turns paperwork into appropriate location.

Understands proper use of inspection required list.

Ability to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane for loading and unloading trucks and moving product.

Responsible for dock audit (visual final inspection) prior to product shipping.

Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers or parts.

Stage material for rod and barrel areas. Brings in pallets, boards, and racks for the paint area.

Knows part number and storage locations.

Knowledge of proper storage areas for all product.

Performs all computer functions necessary to clock in and out of jobs and verifies payroll hours.

Maintains proper indoor and outdoor cleanliness and order.

Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision.

Understanding and compliance of the ISO system.

Continuously looking for ways to improve the shipping/receiving area.
