Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region’s Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group and Portneuf Air Rescue.
Responsibilities
Performs all phases of diagnostic medical cardiac sonography to provide high quality diagnostic exams and patient care.
Collect Pertinent Data & Document Procedure
Assist Physicians with Procedures
Participate in the responsible management of healthcare resources, including personnel, supplies and equipment
Maintain an effective schedule and revise as necessary to retain a minimal waiting period on exams
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Certified or eligible for certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
