Job Description
The Radiation Therapist treats cancer patients using x-rays, responsible for setting up patients in the correct treatment position to deliver radiation precisely to the targeted area. Responsibilities
Delivers radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescription and standard operating procedures. Completes all required documentation and executes the precise positioning of the patient. Observes and assesses patient for clinical changes and reports signs of complications. Applies principles of basic radiation physics, interactions, and protection. Completes Quality Assurance tracking and records results. Performs pain assessment and takes appropriate actions as per standard operating procedure. Assumes other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
North Dakota license. ARRT certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a specific specialty. Recent travel experience required; prefer 3 completed assignments. Epic experience required. Why ARMStaffing?
