Shift: 6A-4:30P, 4-10's between M-F. Must have weekends available for scheduled call, rotating call once per month. Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II demonstrates a thorough understanding of Cardiac, Vascular, Respiratory, and Renal physiology and pathology. You will assist with the orientation and training of Cath Lab staff and be responsible for special projects, which may include participating in relevant committees. This role adheres to the principles of medical ethics as applied in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities

Demonstrates thorough understanding of ECG and related medical terminology. Recognizes and interprets ECG waveform morphology, including lethal arrhythmias. Lists and describes common cardiac pathologies, including symptoms and treatments. Documents cardiac medications, including indications and dosages. Alerts physicians to abnormalities with clinical laboratory values. Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and manages cardiac emergencies using ACLS standards. Monitors diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and intervenes during lethal arrhythmias. Identifies coronary anatomy and pressure waveforms, informing the Interventional Cardiologist as applicable. Calculates basic hemodynamic parameters using the recording computer. Prepares necessary supplies and sets up tables for diagnostic procedures. Monitors percutaneous interventions and differentiates among PTCA, directional, and mechanical rotation atherectomy. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must have Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification. BLS and ACLS certifications required; ACLS must be obtained within six months of hire. At least one year of experience in the Cath Lab including diagnostics, PCIs, and other relevant interventions. Experience in Structural Heart and Electrophysiology preferred but not required. Team-oriented mentality with flexibility to assist where needed. Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences or equivalent. Why ARMStaffing?
