Mozaic (a chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking a dedicated

Bus Monitor

to join our team! In this role, the Bus Monitor provides support and supervision for passengers along designated transportation routes, following all applicable safeguards and Interaction Guidelines. They ensure that each individual has the necessary equipment for transport and that all safety procedures are strictly followed-including securing tie-downs, vehicle and wheelchair seat belts, trays, and brakes-to promote a safe and comfortable ride for all passengers. Bus Monitor Responsibilities:

The Bus Monitor will escort individuals on and off the vehicle as appropriate and will provide necessary support from the residence or program to the vehicle and vice versa. They will work cooperatively with Bus Operators to ensure that all wheelchair tie-downs and seatbelts are properly secured before transport and are safely removed just prior to unloading. During transport, they will provide the appropriate level of supervision in accordance with individual safeguards and will assist with the personal care needs of passengers as needed. Pay Range:

$16.75- $17.25 Scheduled Hours:

Monday - Friday; Hours may vary 35-40 hours per week Location:

The candidate will need a High School diploma or GED Certificate. They will also require SCR clearance. Bus Monitor Benefits Include:
