Job Description Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
Must answer the radio call within 3 attempts (when a radio is assigned)
Complete all guest related service requests within 30 minutes
Complete all non-guest related work order requests as scheduled in a professional and timely manner, taking care to clean up completely after work is done and/or request Housekeeping support
Assist with all duties in the Engineering Department including all aspects of mechanical repairs, electrical work and painting
Assist the Engineering Supervisor in day to day duties
Keep a detailed log book
Ongoing dedication to exceptional guest service, both to internal and external guests
Carry out all work in a safe manner, following all guidelines as outlined in the Health & Safety Program

Qualifications
Previous Engineering experience in a large hotel preferred
Can work well without supervision
Previous experience in hotel operations including guest service experience is an asset
Physical Demands
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend and stoop
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
