We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse employee at our Elk Grove Village terminal.
Position responsibilities include the following:
Implement warehouse operations, support client needs, enter data, conduct audits, update records and answer inquiries.
Stand up reach truck experience is required.
Heavy forklift operation - must have experience with stand up reach trucks.
Monitor for problems, taking immediate action where possible and escalating when required.
Interact with clients, warehouse associates and office personnel, resolve problems, and provide information.
Perform, organize, and streamline operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors.
Develop client specific scope of work documentation.
Pick, pack, and ship warehouse orders.
Complete put-away processes for inbound shipments.
Be an active participant in training and safety programs.
Adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines as outlined in the procedure manual.
Pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment.
Flexibility to work to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area and safe environment.
Performs all other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor, lead or dispatch.
Shift 8:00am to 4:30pm, some overtime may be required based on workload. No weekends!
Requirements
Minimum 2 years forklift experience - certification a plus.
Ability to work and multi-task in fast paced environment.
Work overtime as required.
Ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Ability to follow standard operation procedures with little to no oversight.
Enjoy working in a team environment but follow through on own deliverables on a daily basis.
Capable of applying critical thinking skills.
Professional, courteous and cooperative.
Punctual, reliable and willing to learn.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
