Position Summary

Rutgers School of Nursing invites applications for a Tenure-Track Faculty position in Nursing Science. The successful candidate will become a valued faculty member of the Division of Nursing Science, providing leadership to advance patient care, nursing scholarship, and research. The position will be based in either Newark or New Brunswick, NJ. Responsibilities

The faculty member will: Conduct research and pursue funded grants that align with the Center for Health Equity and Systems Research (CHESR) mission. Teach graduate courses in nursing, including PhD, DNP, and master's programs. Mentor and advise PhD and undergraduate students. Contribute to curriculum design, program development, and departmental activities. Promote community engagement, including research on genomics, community-based participatory work, self and family illness management, HIV and infectious diseases, child health, and social determinants of health. Qualifications

Minimum requirements: Ph.D. in Nursing Science or a related field, with a focus on research that aligns with CHESR. Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure‑track). Publication record in peer‑reviewed, health‑related journals. Demonstrated ability to secure extramural grant support. Experience in teaching and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students. Preferred Qualifications

Skill at grant writing evidenced by securing extramural support for research. Experience in teaching and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students. Benefits
