Origin Travel Nurses
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, along with general diagnostic radiology examinations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care while adhering to safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
Responsibilities
Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for procedures. Review clinical data and obtain additional patient medical history as necessary. Prepare procedure rooms, regularly replenish stock, and manage equipment setup. Perform CT scans while ensuring patient safety through radiation protection measures. Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for possible reactions. Assist radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures. Ensure proper documentation of procedures in medical records and radiology information systems. Exhibit team member standards of excellence in communication and customer service. Schedule
This position requires night shift availability from 11 PM to 7 AM, working every other weekend. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Must hold BLS certification. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with an advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible. Why ARMStaffing?
