Lab Assistant Adjunct Instructor – Remington College
Join Remington College as a Lab Assistant Adjunct Instructor to support our Clinical Lab Assistant program at the Lafayette Campus.
Base Pay Range $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr
Responsibilities
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Helps develop curriculum for the program.
Assists with faculty recruitment, orientation, and training.
Provides hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline recommendations to the Campus Dean.
Exerts discretion and independent judgment in subject matter areas within administrative guidance.
Assists in organizing student and graduation ceremonies.
Assists in arranging Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings and attends them.
Monitors student attendance and attrition; controls attrition for the department.
Researches and implements technological changes in laboratory science.
Supervises, coordinates, and directs work of academic program personnel.
Supports the DCA/Campus Dean in implementing academic program objectives.
Teaches courses as required.
Travels as required.
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Maintains professional relationships with campus personnel.
Conducts professional conduct that reflects positively on the campus and company.
Performs job onsite when required; remote work is possible if onsite is not needed.
Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of related practical work experience.
Preferred: Clinical laboratory science background, lab safety, equipment proficiency, and teaching experience.
