We are seeking a Project Task Manager / Environmental Professional (Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Engineer) to join our team. In this full‑time role you will collaborate with project managers to support projects through all phases of the site evaluation and remediation life cycle.
Role Description This position involves both fieldwork and office-based tasks across multiple projects. You will assist with environmental investigation, remediation, and permitting projects, oversee scopes of work, schedules, and budgets, and ensure strict adherence to health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
Install groundwater monitoring wells, well abandonment, soil borings, site investigations, groundwater monitoring, and other field‑based tasks.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
Support the development of conceptual site models, delineate contamination extent, and contribute to remediation design and optimization.
Write and review technical reports.
Coordinate work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors.
Qualifications & Experience
2+ years of experience in the environmental industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Previous experience with environmental sampling, technical report writing, and data evaluation.
Strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Texas and New Mexico state environmental regulations.
40‑hour HAZWOPER certification (with 8‑hour annual refresher, if applicable).
