In an outpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadershipFT position available, primarily days, 8 hour shifts.Seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual for busy outpatient clinic. Candidate will possess strong leadership, clinical, and management skills with a desire to work collaboratively with all members of health care team. Works closely with providers to facilitate/maintain efficient patient flow. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Will oversee nursing staff within these areas, facilitating appropriate utilization of resources at the subspecialty level. Will work with Physician leaders and nursing staff of these units to problem solve day to day operational issues. Assumes final accountability for performance improvement and educational activities for nursing staff. Will represent nursing within the hospital, at the unit and service level. Will work creatively to develop programs that effectively meet patient needs. Will be involved in delivery of direct care. May require working at our other clinic locations as necessary. NYS license as a RN, 3 years of Nursing experience, BSN in Nursing required.
