Job Description Brookdale Carriage Club is Hiring an Associate Director of Dining to join their growing team! A Senior Living Community specializing in Memory Care, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing. This full‑time position oversees the Front of the House / Dining Room at a beautiful 400‑apartment CCRC located on 45 acres in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities
Oversee Dining Room operations to ensure smooth meal service.
Oversee room service and billing.
Manage staff, including hiring, training, discipline, and termination per company policies.
Assist the Dining Services Director in daily operations, financial expectations, and meal preparation supervision.
Maintain quality assurance programs and resident request logs.
Assist in purchasing, scheduling, and budgeting for food and non‑food items.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health department inspections.
Supervise dining room opening/closing and special functions when the director is absent.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university with 2–3 years related experience, or 12+ years of experience in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality.
ServSafe Certified; Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager preferred.
Valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
Experience working with seniors and older adults is beneficial.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word processing, and basic PC skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Standing, walking, sitting, and occasional weekend, evening, or night work.
Regular use of hands and fingers; reach with arms; lift up to 50 pounds.
On‑call as needed; possible exposure to communicable diseases, blood‑borne pathogens, chemicals, and latex.
Frequent travel may be required.
