Position Overview
The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire a Support Service Coordinator I for the Chicago-Read Mental Health Center located in Chicago, Illinois to plan, schedule, and direct housekeeping functions on an assigned shift. Provides working coverage as staffing indicates and prioritizes actual work as to where and what to clean. Submits written reports to the supervisor documenting conditions, problems or special circumstances. Serves as designated lead worker. Attends DHS and Chicago-Read Mental Health Center (CRMHC) mandatory training and participates in specific housekeeping training to remain current with new housekeeping processes and procedures. Essential Functions
Plans, schedules and directs housekeeping functions on an assigned shift at Chicago-Read Mental Health Center. Instructs staff how to use equipment, proper housekeeping, and safety procedures. Serves as designated lead worker. Serves as a resource for questions/problems. Distributes and requisitions supplies. Attends Department of Human Services (DHS) and Chicago-Read Mental Health Center (CRMHC) mandatory training and participates in specific housekeeping training to remain current with new housekeeping processes and procedures. Performs other above duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school. Requires two years of experience, such as could be gained at the Support Service Provider level in one of the support service functional areas to which assigned. Conditions of Employment
Requires the ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers and various software programs including email. Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check. Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law. *All conditions of employment listed are incorporated and related to any of the job duties as listed in the job description. 2:00pm-10:00pm, 30 minute unpaid lunch, Wk 1: Tues/Sat off Wk 2: Sun/Thurs off repeats every 14 days Headquarter Location
