Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Chemical Manufacturing Operator for a contract position in Martin, SC. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (occasional overtime as needed) Interview Process: 30-minute in-person interview The Chemical Manufacturing Operator supports the production and packaging of chemical products in accordance with established procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards. This role is hands-on and works closely with the manufacturing team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Essential Job Functions Perform production operations according to current manufacturing processes and procedures Complete packaging operations in compliance with production and quality standards Transport chemicals and equipment using pumps, piping systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies Monitor and ensure product quality and quantity throughout the production process Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include full-face respirators, gloves, and protective suits Clean and maintain equipment and work areas following production activities Coordinate proper waste disposal and complete all required compliance documentation Communicate and document the status of processes, products, and equipment Notify supervisors of any deviations, issues, or equipment concerns Complete accurate batch records and ensure all logbooks are properly filled out Follow all safety policies and production procedures at all times Properly label all in-process equipment and containers Identify and take action to correct unsafe conditions Participate in required safety, quality, and job-related training Maintain strong housekeeping standards in production and laboratory areas Basic Qualifications Education: Associate degree (AA) in a life science field with 1–2 years of related experience OR High school diploma with 1–3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or chemical environment Experience:
1–2 years of chemical manufacturing experience preferred Forklift experience required Essential & Critical Skills
