12‑hour shifts, PRN—As Needed.
About the Opportunity Harris Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network serving communities coast to coast. As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional care for mothers and newborns.
Our 14‑bed Women’s Services Unit includes a Level 2B nursery with 6 beds and an 8‑bed L&D/Mother‑Baby Unit. With an average of 50 deliveries per month and a low C‑section rate, the unit provides comprehensive care and supports a positive birthing experience.
How You’ll Contribute
Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

What We’re Looking For
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or a compact state.
AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
One year of experience preferred.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
