Job Description A Post-Doctoral Associate position is available to work on a project on the TOU high-resolution spectrograph and the DHARMA optical telescope with Dr. Jason Dittmann in the Department of Astronomy. The position also involves the development and operation of a high-resolution optical spectrograph on Mt Lemmon in Arizona. Responsibilities include operating high‑resolution spectrographs and building data pipelines for radial velocity measurements of exoplanet host stars.

Salary and Benefits Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience; includes a full benefits package.

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, or Computer Science by the appointment date.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating high‑resolution spectrographs and data reduction for radial velocities.

Experience with instrument development preferred.
