Description The dietitian plans, directs and provides nutritional care to patients and conducts nutrition assessments. The dietitian offers education to patients and family members, in-service training, and other training to food service and other departments as needed.

We are hiring for a Dietitian position in the Nutritional Counseling department at St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK.

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, foods and nutrition.

Alaska Dietitian License within 6 months (180 days) of hire. Or Alaska Nutritionist License within 6 months (180 days) of hire.

National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Dietetics or nutrition science.

2 years of Hospital inpatient experience.

Experience working with adult/geriatric population.

Pay Range The base pay range is $33.63 - $52.22. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
