Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for inventory control, SAP analytics, troubleshooting and implementation of inventory systems, and warehouse processes. Directs and coordinates warehouse activities of warehouse workers who receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products of the distribution warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews bill of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders to plan work activities.
Manages the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of merchandise, and keeps warehouse inventory.
Plans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activities with direction from safety management.
Coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with activities of sales, record control, production, and purchasing departments.
Prepares or directs preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals.
Performs inventory comparison between systems within SAP by ensuring the integrity of EWM and ERP systems.
Learn, train, and teach official staff inventory management and shipping and receiving processes. Continuously improve processes to maintain a leading standard warehouse.
Allocate duties for efficient labor use.
Continuously build employees through cross training to increase department success.
Communicates flow of materials with Support Center. Report inventory levels. Work closely with MRP team on any/all shipping and receiving issues.
Align daily operations to meet the standards of MRP, Customer Service, Traffic, and Sales Teams.
Maintain accurate inventories within Trident. Assist in the management of inventories in multiple 3PL warehouses.
Support production. Allocate materials to production by maintaining FEFO, adhering to work order requests, and supplying production with the necessary raw materials, packaging, and ingredients.
Troubleshoot errors in the system. Research where errors occur. Implement processes to prevent recurrence.
Additional Responsibilities
Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
Acquire knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
Notify designated personnel of any environmental and safety incidents, or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and or Safety training.
Compensation This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $33.65 to $43.27.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
A minimum of five years' experience in warehouse/distribution center management including experience with direct supervision of employees.
Knowledge of Interstate Shipping Regulations, Food Safety, and Audit procedures required.
Experience in Inventory Control, Microsoft Applications, Customer Service.
Must be highly organized, maintain strong communication skills, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) such as Infor EAM.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves objects. Regularly up to 10 pounds. Frequently up to 25 pounds. Occasionally up to 50 pounds.
