Field Operations Material Handler I

We are hiring a Field Operations Material Handler to work at our Logistics Center in Fort Myers, FL. The role involves responsible receipt, sterilization, and prioritization of surgery‑used loaner instrument kits, as well as coordinating the transactions and movements of the loaner sets through the operations processes to ensure each kit is accurately assembled and re‑packaged in accordance with Arthrex standards for re‑ship to the field.
Hours are 9:30 am to 6:00 pm EST. Training period hours will be 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.
Essential Functions
Perform activities related to the receiving, cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of loaner devices.
Assist with the proper processing of loaner sets and associated sterilization processes and validations in accordance with procedures.
Prepare devices for review as part of sterilization and/or cleaning validation.
Provide assistance with cleaning and sterilization process monitoring activities.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
Experience
Experience with material handling and processing in a medical device industry or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience with SAP preferred.
Skills
Ability to work on a variety of items daily.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements.
Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
Ability to work well with a variety of team members effectively in a collaborative work environment.
Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.

Physical Demands The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Occasionally lift 20‑30 lbs on a regular basis. Visual acuity is necessary to do the job safely and effectively. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
