Summary:
Assign rooms for cleaning and schedule Guest Room Attendants to those rooms while maintaining accurate records pertaining to the status of all rooms. Answer incoming Housekeeping calls, including calls from guests, Utility Porters, Housepersons, and the Engineering department using excellent phone etiquette at all times.
Essential Functions
Schedule Guest Room Attendants to appropriate rooms for cleaning
Dispatch service calls to proper department or area
Maintain a daily log of all serviced calls and the status of any outstanding calls
Receive and log lost and found items on a daily basis
Issue and receive keys, radios, equipment, and worksheets to Housekeeping staff
Greet and direct visitors, co‑workers, job applicants and others in a positive, friendly and upbeat manner
Operate a multi‑line phone system, handheld radios, and desktop radios
Assemble, file and/or retrieve departmental records as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Prior experience in a similar role preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bi‑lingual preferred
Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple assignments at a time preferred
Proven ability to provide outstanding guest service while multi‑tasking preferred
Outstanding organizational skills preferred
Previous experience successfully using a computer, including Microsoft Office and office equipment
Previous experience using LMS preferred
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time
Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Use of office equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail in a noisy environment
Ability to communicate via radios
Regularly required to talk, read in English, see, and hear
