Position overview and responsibilities are described below. This role supports customer service, sales, and pharmacy-related activities under supervision, in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Registers sales on the assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy; uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves; assists with inventory and pricing as directed by management. Performs duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including entering patient and drug information and supporting workflow in the pharmacy. Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to company policies regarding pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. Handles customer service tasks across store operations, including recommending items, processing purchases, returns, exchanges, and assisting customers in locating products. Provides customer service in the photo area and supports related services as applicable. Supports store maintenance, asset protection, and compliance with store policies and procedures. Completes assignments and special projects as directed. Training & Personal Development

Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated program and/or state-required certification/registration. Attends training and completes required learning, maintaining knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy trends. Basic Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications

Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens. Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
