Day Shift with Call Rotation Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and guidance of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. This role involves effective interactions with patients and their families and collaboration with other departments in patient care and performance improvement activities. Responsibilities
Perform radiographic procedures and assist in diagnosis. Manage time efficiently and maintain a safe, clean environment. Practice patient confidentiality and treat all persons with respect and professional courtesy. Support the mission and vision of the organization. Able to accept and provide constructive feedback. Adhere to infection control, fire and safety policies. Perform other duties as directed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the State Department of Health. Flexibility to work overtime and on-call duty. Understanding of age-related developmental issues in pediatrics and geriatrics. Maintain continuing education and current BLS certification.
