Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; every other weekend; holiday rotations.
Job Description
Join an experienced ICU team where you will provide critical care to patients in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for caring for an average daily census of 16-17 patients, with a focus on both Medical and Surgical Intensive Care as well as Neurosurgical patients. The unit features a 1:1-2 nurse-to-patient ratio in ICU settings and 1:3 ratio in Stepdown settings, ensuring high-quality, personalized care. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans. Respond to emergencies and provide essential interventions as required. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and preventive measures. Document patient care activities clearly and accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN licensure in the state of West Virginia. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS are required; TNCC preferred. Experience in an ICU setting with exposure to ventilators and critical care protocols. Why ARMStaffing?
