The Reporting Coordinator serves as the primary reporting person for the agency's HUD Community Development Block Grant- Disaster Recovery (CDBG-OR) and Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CD BG-MIT) grants, as well as the US Treasury's ARPA grant. Assists the Reporting Manager in managing the complex data collection and reporting of federal grants for the agency using reporting systems including but not limited to HU O's Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) and Guidehouse's ARPA Salesforce systems.

Responsibilities of the Reporting Coordinator:

Develops data collection policies, processes, and procedures for the agency's 2024 Hurricane Helene HUD CDBG-DR grant.

Ensures grant reporting follows established procedures including the approval process.

Meets all required reporting deadlines with limited errors.

Develops data collection policies, processes, and procedures for reporting on any federal grant the agency is awarded.

Conducts data input and reporting on the agency's HUD CDBG-MIT grant.

Conducts data input and reporting on the agency's $100M Treasury American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant.

Assists in developing and implementing the reporting portion of auditing, monitoring, and compliance plans for all federal grants administered by the agency.

Reviews state run and subrecipient run projects.

Assists the Finance and grant administering departments with financial reconciliation and processing of draw requests for program activities including financial and performance.

Provides technical assistance on the DRGR system to other CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT state and county grantees across the country.

Assists grantees in proper system set up, implementation, program management, and compliance.

A high school diploma and relevant program experience.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to collect and consolidate data into approved reporting formats.

Knowledge of disaster recovery and mitigation programs.

Ability to develop reporting methodologies and procedures.

Ability to determine and enforce reporting frequencies.

Knowledge of research and statistical methods.

Knowledge of computers and computer application software.

Knowledge of management, organizational and administrative methods and techniques.

Ability to interpret agency policies and procedures.

Ability to train other employees on reporting programs and procedures.

Ability to present information effectively both orally and in writing.

Ability to rapidly learn grant reporting systems including HUD's Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) system.

Must maintain a valid driver's license.

A bachelor's degree is preferred.
