Site Supervisor
We are looking for Supervisors to lead the team of HGV Tanker Drivers to work across the Hampshire Region. You will be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently in line the Waste Contract. The work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions.
Strong leadership being at our heart, supporting our people ensuring they are engaged with purpose, rewarded and recognised whilst delivering absolute exacting operational excellence being a leading entity and enviable delivery team embracing quality and compliance in our overarching delivery, one of our fundamental key differentiators.
Hours: 4 days on 4 days off
Salary: Depending on experience (including over time if available and on call bonus)
Location: Millbrook Depot (Hampshire)
Responsibilities Responsibilities - but not limited to:
Ensure all engineers are compliant with PPE & Company policy standards
Supporting engineers on the field
Competencies of engineers
Audits
Training of engineers
Managing sites and keeping clients up-to-date
H&S onsite
Basic vehicle maintenance & stock
Work instructions to engineers
Problem-solving
Site set up and site stand down as well as housekeeping.
Planning breaks on 12hrs or 24hrs drivers
Taking deliveries and off-hiring equipment
To carry out any reasonable ad hoc request by LMC Managers or the Senior Leadership Team
Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them

About You The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Previous management and leadership experience is crucial, as is a full UK drivers licence. Having prior knowledge of the utilities sector, especially drainage and waste water, will be an advantage. Being able to prioritise and multitask whilst building working relationships is essential.
