Description:
Assist with the development, coordination and implementation of the recreational programs for children and youth ages 5-14 yrs. Lead Supervisor will work directly with the Coordinator. Responsible for supervision of Summer Camp Programs. Support BGC Kawarthas to meet the agency and community needs through direct involvement and support of camp staff and participants.
Qualifications:
Standard First Aid and CPR C (or willingness to acquire)
HIGH FIVE Principles of Health Child Development (or willingness to acquire)
Criminal Reference Check (18+ years of age) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (19+ years of age) in accordance with the Police Record Checks Reform Act (PRCRA). Applications can be completed online through your local Police Station.
F Class License (asset)
Supervisor experience required
Strong communication skills
Strong programming skills required
Strong behavior management skills
Behavior Management Systems Training (or willingness to acquire)
