Registered Nurse – Post Surgical & Stroke, Full‑Time Days
The Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273‑bed acute care facility that has been delivering high quality, safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. It is a nationally recognized hospital, ranked by the American Heart Association for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and coronary artery disease. In addition to acute care, the center offers behavioral health (Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health), emergency medical care (main hospital and ER at Sweetwater), orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services (Hitchcock Rehabilitation Services), imaging, and wound care.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families during vulnerable times.
Collaborate with a nationwide network of peer nurses and nursing leaders, exchanging ideas and reviewing current topics within the industry.
Engage in Charge, Clinical Supervisor, and Nurse Manager‑in‑training programs and nursing executive tracks.
Utilize the center’s robust continuing education options, opportunities for skill diversification, and career advancement for registered nurses.

Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.
Experience:
Prefer one‑year full‑time or three years part‑time acute care experience. New graduates are encouraged to apply in their final semester.
License:
Current South Carolina nursing license.
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS (upon hire). CPI (within 6 months).
