Cell Tower Technician ($18-$35hr depending on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities & Expectations Tower Construction & Maintenance Tasks
Tower erection and decommissioning
Line and antenna installation
Microwave installation
Troubleshooting and routine maintenance
Installation of mounting hardware
Professional Expectations
Demonstrate strong time‑management and communication skills
Maintain a dependable work ethic
Be career‑oriented and committed to professional development
Willingness to travel and remain on the road for up to two weeks at a time
Maintain a valid driver’s license
Pass a pre‑employment drug screening
Follow direction, stay organized, and consistently demonstrate attention to detail
Required Certifications & Training
Competent Climber Certification
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
Competent Rigger Certification
Aerial Lift Certification
CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens
RF Awareness Training
Familiarity With Test Equipment

Lighting Certifications
Flash, TWR, ITL, Dialight, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to climb, read, identify issues, and lead tasks as needed
Strong problem‑solving skills and creative thinking in the field
Ability to lead by example while producing high‑quality work
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job instructions
Clear and effective communication with team members, supervisors, managers, and customers
Ability to listen, follow direction, and work collaboratively
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift, pull, climb, rig, and test equipment while maintaining safe work practices at all times. Work at heights exceeding 100 feet is common, and candidates must be capable of performing high‑quality work safely at elevation.
Work Environment
Approximately 95% of work is performed outdoors
Exposure to varying weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, and wind
Work sites may include towers, rooftops, water tanks, buildings, elevated structures, and billboards
Constant awareness of weather conditions and site hazards is required
Candidates must actively practice and demonstrate safe work habits
Work hours may vary; 10‑hour days are common
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation is offered based on experience, skill level, and dedication, including:
50% employer‑paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
Short‑term and long‑term disability options
401(k) with 4% company match
Seven paid holidays annually
Paid Time Off (PTO):
40 hours after 90 days
Additional 40 hours after one‑year performance review
$35.00 per diem for travel days (paid at 100%)
Eligibility for biannual performance bonuses
Annual tenure bonus paid each December
Pay Range $18.00 – $35.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications
