St Simons By-the-Sea is a 101-bed psychiatric and addictive disease hospital for adults and adolescents. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility and ensuring the daily upkeep of public areas, as well as supervising the Housekeeping Department.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Interview and hire staff for the department, and train new housekeeping staff to perform their duties; post work schedules and cleaning schedules
Ensure facility is kept clean at all times; make daily rounds of the facility to ensure that areas needing attention are cared for by the staff responsible for the area
Maintain budget for supplies

High School diploma or GED required
Previous housekeeping experience required; experience in a healthcare setting preferred
