What the position The Regional Manager has the responsibility of ensuring that their assigned region remains in total compliance with safety and government regulations which have a direct effect with company aircraft. As a minimum, the position holder will have regional airline customer service experience and/or ramp handling experience. In addition, knowledge of safety management systems (SMS). Regional Manager is responsible for all station functions and changes to airport personnel, including supervision of all plane‑side operational activities.

Essential Functions

Reports to the Director, Airport Operations for efficient and safe operations for the assigned hub location.

Work together with airport handling companies and code share partner on daily operations.

Train and prepare all handling companies on CommuteAir procedures.

Manage assigned region, respond to the needs of the station ground handler and ensure that necessary tools are available to operate a safe and reliable airline.

Communicate with airport authorities and aircraft servicing companies regarding fueling, catering, deicing and other services necessary for the smooth operation of the airline.

Monitor and communicate on all delays and work with codeshare partners. Audit each location within assigned region to ensure compliance in all company policies and procedures.

Direct communication as necessary between Crewmembers, Chief Pilot, Inflight and Station Maintenance.

Assist the Charter Operation and be used for support when required as a Charter Coordinator.

Assist Flight Ops and Inflight departments in distributing latest Company information such as bulletins, memos, and revisions.

Assist in monitoring Company crew lounge to ensure it remains orderly and all printers and computers are in working order and function properly.

Manage support documents and file for accuracy.

Ensure compliance with security regulations.

Any other duties or assignments as directed by the Director, Airport Operation

Must have experience with Ramp and Passenger Handling.

Understanding and involvement of Safety Management Systems and auditing.

Self‑starter and be able to work under minimum supervision.

Must have proficiency and working experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong conflict resolution skills to address issues with Airport Operations.

Must be able to work extended hours including some weekends.

Must have the ability to travel as required with overnight stays and hold a current U.S Passport.

Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug test.

Exceptional communication and people skills, both verbal and written. Strong understanding of automated systems and processes.

Organized with the ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities regularly

Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.

Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Requirements Sedentary Work Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body, sedentary work involves sitting most of the time and walking /standing occasionally

Includes inspection, close assembly, clerical administrative; This is a minimal standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, computer, extensive reading.

Environmental Conditions Inside environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
