ABOUT THE ROLE This Key Account Manager role is the connection point between Nodpod and its retail partners. You will nurture and grow key accounts while also opening new doors that expand our footprint. You will bring a strong understanding of the consumer packaged goods space and know how to support buyers, planners, and merchant teams in ways that reflect their needs and expectations.

You will build trusted relationships, strengthen sell through, and bring structure and consistency to both inbound and outbound sales efforts. You will apply data driven decision making to guide planning, forecasting, and account strategy with clarity and confidence.

You will partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and leadership to elevate execution, prepare for seasonal moments, and support the company’s retail roadmap with excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and grow key accounts with a focus on sell through, relationship building, and long term partnership.

Pursue and secure new retail opportunities across gifting, lifestyle, wellness, home, and general retail.

Strengthen relationships with buyers, brokers, and distributor partners.

Own seasonal and promotional planning in coordination with internal teams.

Use POS data, trends, and category insights to guide planning and strategy.

Prepare thoughtful and persuasive line review and product launch presentations.

Ensure brokers meet brand standards and sales objectives.

Partner with Operations on forecasting, replenishment, and inventory planning.

Represent Nodpod at meetings, trade events, and industry gatherings.

Track category shifts and competitive movement to support strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in

Retail Sales, CPG Sales, Business Development, or Strategic Account Management

for consumer goods, lifestyle, or wellness brands.

Proven success managing regional or national retail accounts.

Experience selling into

specialty, gift, lifestyle, department store, home, wellness, or general retail

channels.

Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Confident leading retailer facing meetings and presentations.

Highly organized with strong follow through and operational discipline.

Skilled in reading POS data, category reporting, and account performance insights.

Comfortable working within promotional calendars and seasonal planning.

Familiar with forecasting, replenishment conversations, and basic demand planning.

Highly organized with strong follow-through and an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset.

Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-growing, founder-led environment.

Willingness to travel for account meetings, retailer events, and trade shows.
