Job Summary The Custodian / Cleaner will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment and gym floor.
Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
Properly dispose of trash and maintain trash cans.
Clean and dust items high off the ground (e.g., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters).
Report any broken or missing equipment or amenities to the Club Manager.
Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager immediately.
Qualifications and Requirements
Custodial experience is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Punctuality and reliability are mandatory.
Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
Ability to solve problems independently.
Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language.
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Physical Demands
Continual standing and walking during shift.
Occasional lifting of over 80 pounds.
Exposure to potentially toxic chemicals.
Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
Movement in various positions including bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting.
