Security Officer - Corporate Building Complex

San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol the property, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Thu 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for residential locations. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel or authorities. Monitor access points and help deter unauthorized entry into the residential location. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff to address questions, concerns, or security-related matters. Minimum Requirements
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. Closing
