C.Bargaining Unit:NoThe Liberty Partnerships Program is a college readiness initiative funded by the NYSED. It serves middle and high school students attending schools throughout the borough of Queens and it is an all-year after-school, weekend and summer program.The program is looking for a Social Worker to work closely with the Case Management Team to assist students achieve their educational goals and transition to post graduation plans successfully. This position is grant-funded.Reporting to the Director and working closely with the Case Management Specialist, the Social Worker will:* Ensure that every student enrolled in the program has completed assessment surveys and a Personal Learning Plan (PLP) for the year* Provide academic advising and counseling as needed* Facilitate grade transition workshops as needed* Assist in scheduling and coordinating events such as educational trips, college tours, parent orientation, career day, alumni day, ceremonies and annual conferences* Prepare and sign up students for conferences, extracurricular activities and chaperone as needed* Attend orientation and mandatory meetings* Other duties as assigned**Qualifications:*** Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Master's Preferred* Familiarity with afterschool and grant programs for JHS and HS students bound to college, and at least 2 years working with youth* Must be able to make a commitment to work the Saturday weekly hours and the assigned summer weeks* Must be able to work in person in the summer during the 4 weeks of the month of July M-W 10am-3pm* Bilingual Spanish/English preferred* Must be organized, be able to work independently as well as a team player* Must have typing skills and must be able to operate MS Excel, MS Access programs, social media and Zoom Meetings* Must be sensitive to deadlines and must be detail-orientedPay Range:$45.00 - $47.00**RFCUNY Benefits****Equal Employment Opportunity Statement**

These functions include legal assessment and signing of agreements where RFCUNY is named as a fiscal agent; setting up award accounts; preparing sub-awards and assisting PIs in monitoring the work of the recipients of sub-awards; supporting project directors with hiring and managing research project and sponsored program staff; supporting the purchasing and paying for goods and services with grant and program funds; managing financial aspects of projects including accounts receivable, financial reporting, invoicing, budget monitoring, and cost compliance with uniform guidance; ensuring that sponsor financial requirements are met; monitoring compliance with applicable project and financial management rules and laws; supporting the management of independent and external audits and financial reviews; and providing data, information, management expertise, and other supports to CUNY’s research and sponsored programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
