Overview

As an Accounts Payable Analyst at Sargento, you will review and process capital project invoices with accuracy and timeliness while providing financial analytical support to management in a customer‑focused manner. Responsibilities

Analyze and process non‑routine and exception accounts payable transactions. Maintain SAP Good Received/Invoice Received reporting, including reconciling discrepancies. Interact with Procurement, Shipping/Receiving, Engineering and IT to ensure proper invoice approval and coding into the general ledger. Investigate and resolve invoice pricing and quantity differences. Develop vendor relationships to identify efficiencies and ensure accurate and timely invoice processing. Provide backup to other AP team members as needed. Prioritize and manage workflow to handle routine inquiries and tasks simultaneously. Apply accounts payable sales and use tax guidelines and collaborate with the Tax Department when necessary. Audit and reconcile statements accurately and promptly; forward complex vendor issues to supervisors. Maintain excellent client service relationships with internal and external customers. Respect confidentiality of vendor invoices and internal/external relationships. System Proficiency

Maintain a high level of proficiency in SAP financial transaction flow and strong Microsoft Excel skills for various AP tasks. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. 2–4 years experience in accounting or finance department. Benefits
