Warehouse Associate (Transportation)

Pay Rate Pay Rate: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (dependent on education and experience).

Responsibilities

Process customer and shop credits

Perform various housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards

Check orders for accuracy

Work cooperatively with team members to accomplish warehouse/parts goals

Follow all safety rules and regulations when completing job responsibilities

Call to schedule pick ups

Effectively interface with internal and external customers

Pull parts according to customer and shop orders and deliver parts to packing area

Identify the required delivery method and pack parts accordingly

Prepare freight for delivery by shipper, secure to pallet, and complete shipping paperwork

Receive shipments, including verifying accuracy of parts and quantity

Inventory parts by verifying parts and quantities against system inventory

Place parts on shelves

Fill emergency back orders and deliver to proper location

As needed, drive parts to designated location

Move parts and materials with a forklift

Assemble hoses as a secondary function

Conduct core inspections as assigned

Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to operate a forklift

Basic familiarity with light industrial equipment including saws, hoisting equipment, and hose presses

Additional Eligibility Requirements

Motor vehicle license

Physical Demands & Competencies

Standing, walking, talking, use of hands, hearing, squatting/kneeling

Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.

Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 94 pounds or more

Ability to multi-task in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to operate a motor vehicle

Basic familiarity with a computer keyboard and computer screens

Ability to navigate through menus and options
