Commercial Driver – Part Time at AutoZone. AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. You will drive company-provided vehicles, support delivery operations, and contribute to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services. Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships. Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies. Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules. Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors. Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment. Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies. Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly. Qualifications
Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply. Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements to ensure responsible and secure vehicle operation. Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise. You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English. Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail. Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A valid Hazmat endorsement is a plus, helping ensure proper handling and transportation of regulated materials in safety standards. About Us
