Job Description Salary Range:
$35,610 - $39,562
Position Summary:
Responsible for shipping, receiving and storing all items from suppliers and properly distributing those items throughout the facility based on internal or external customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Stamps bar‑stock and moves material to the Screw Machines
Safely removes product off of shippers vehicles
Verifies packing slips vs actual product received
Accurately notifies Management of damaged goods prior to delivery service leaving and marks Bill of Lading appropriately
Assists manufacturing associates in obtaining components for production
Stocks shelves with components and raw goods throughout shift
Send parts out to be plated
Assists in moving incoming material to proper stock location and rotates stock
Pulls packing slips off cartons and delivers received goods to appropriate person/department
Uses forklift to load and unload trucks including bar stock & pallets
Helps band and wrap pallets
Coordinates with waste and process chip vendors and prepares shipments for pick up
Verifies job orders with production that has been entered into SAP and corrects discrepancies
Qualifications
Knowledge of MS Outlook/Excel, Syteline software, forklift, stand‑up, scissor lift, and electric hand jack
Ability to communicate effectively
Attention to detail including basic math skills
High School diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year’s shipping experience required
No industry experience required
Forklift certification is strongly preferred
Hours This is a 1st Shift (Mornings) full‑time position with regular hours starting at 6:00 am and ending at 2:30 pm, M‑F (40 hours/week).
