Roller Die Operator – Titan International, Inc.
Location: Union City, TN
Base pay range: $3,000.00/yr
Category: Mixing – Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Must learn to master a control panel which operates the roller die.
Check width and gauge of stock from roller die, making sure stock goes through slurry tank and onto takeaway conveyor.
Make clean outs, push outs and maintain proper temperature and RPM of extruder and/or roller die.
Keep pelletizers and/or conveyors free of jam-ups, clean conveyors from mill tailings, take samples from each stock run and send to lab, make slurry and keep slurry tanks filled properly.
Mark stock wheel for proper identification of each batch as to compound, shift, etc., and notify personnel of irregularities or malfunctioning equipment.
Qualifications
High School diploma and/or GED; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that performs the essential functions of this position.
Computer technology experience is a plus.
