The Supply Chain Tech supports a 24‑hour operation, including daily supply handling, scanning, ordering, inventory stocking, and distribution of materials across multiple buildings and work sites. The Tech manages incoming calls, assists with customer stat orders, inquiries, and solves any customer needs.

Experience – Preferred: Previous stock clerk experience

Education – Required: High School Diploma or GED

Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur; may have periods of constant interruptions.

This role does not involve direct patient care; however, it is important to acknowledge the potential to encounter severely injured patients within the hospital environment.

Job duties may include access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies.

Physical Requirements

Physical: Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs (100% load) or up to 100 lbs (33% load)

Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs (100% load) or 100 lbs (66% load)

Stooping/kneeling/squatting: up to 100%

Crawling/climbing: up to 33%

Balancing: up to 66%

Bending: up to 100%

Receiving & Shipping:

Assist with unloading trucks

Utilize equipment to move supplies

Regularly move 50+ carts a shift

Restock bulk packaging

Constant and extended physical work

Work Position: Sitting up to 33% of time; walking/standing up to 100% of time

Manual dexterity (eye/hand coordination)

Perform shift work

Reach above shoulder level

Repetitive arm/hand movements

Mental/Sensory: Reasoning, hearing, speaking clearly, writing legibly, reading comprehension

Emotional: Steady work pace, frequent and intense customer interactions
