Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate supports Willis Music’s retail and rental operations by receiving, organizing, preparing, and distributing musical instruments and related products. This role is essential to ensuring accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and the safe handling of valuable instruments and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining accurate physical inventories records and counts
Organize warehouse space to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and safety
Support seasonal needs such as back-to-school rentals, events, and instrument returns
Process Instrument rental returns in and out of the repair shop
Perform basic quality control checks on instruments returning from the repair shop to ensure correct items, accessories, and appropriate tagging before distribution.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Communicate inventory needs, damages, or discrepancies to management
Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming shipments
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for store locations, customer purchases, and special events
Safely handle, store, and transport instruments following company standards
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Assist with special projects as assigned
Estimated annual earnings at $14.00 per hour: $25,480–$29,120, depending on hours worked

Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills for inventory systems
Previous warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
Standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Ability to safely handle fragile and high-value instruments
